Why, you ask does the world need another Arsenal blog? What new do I have to add to the already swirling, endless debate that rages across the web wherever Gooner lovers and haters mingle? Well – at the moment I’m not sure. I’m a lifelong Arsenal fan, as you’d probably expect from someone writing a blog about them.
Why is the site called One Nil To Us? Probably like many of you reading this, I’m tired of the seasons of pretty football, progress and pace, youth and flair but. I love those things. But I also love winning. I love what Arsenal’s football represents, but, boy do I wish for a harkening back to the days of the 1-0 grinding victory, the solid back four, strikers that put away chances and strong, unbending management. Can we can combine the two eras, and prove that glory doesn’t need to be bought – it can be earned.
